You can see that this is a desert map. Notice the boundary (bright green line) that surrounds the map is overlayed with mountain ridges. This gives the player the impression that the map is set within a valley or mountain plateau.
You start at the top of the map, with large deposits of purple Galaxite Ore that can be mined by a Bullpup. There are a few enemy units to the south with a large base at the bottom of the map.
A nice river runs though the top half of the map.
